A small team that funds its own work.

We love to get stuff done. Atidus is a product studio, formerly Femur Labs. We’re self-funded, so we’re our own bosses. That lets us be bolder, quicker, and pick our battles.

We place many small bets on software, and make each one easy to understand, easy to use, and worth the time. Now we also build alongside founders at the very beginning, and back the ones we believe in with small checks.

What we do
We build our own productsSmall, self-funded bets on software that should still be useful in ten years.
We build with foundersOur stack, our engineers and our introductions, from the first commit.
We write small checksHigh-conviction angel checks, often the first money in.
How we work
Small betsWe try many small ideas that are safe to fail, instead of staking everything on one.
Our own moneyWe have paid for everything we built. Making software does not have to be a gamble.
Attention and careWe stay a small team so every detail gets someone's full attention.
The name

In Hebrew, atid means the future. In Lithuanian, atidus means attentive and careful. We wanted a name that holds both: a long horizon, and close attention to every small thing along the way.

“Every day we ask ourselves the same question: are we building products that are simpler, kinder, faster, better, and more human?”
